Midland County Housing Authority was officially chartered in 1988. Midland County Housing Authority provides affordable housing opportunities for individuals, families, the elderly, veterans, people with disabilities, and others within Midland and Andrews Counties.

A Designated HCV High Performing Agency, Midland County Housing Authority currently administers the following affordable housing programs: Housing Choice Vouchers (HCVs) formerly known as the "Section 8 program.", Foster Youth to Independence Vouchers (FYI), and Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing Vouchers (Vash).

Midland County Housing Authority offers a variety of resident engagement initiatives, events, and services, such as the FSS program. Midland County Housing Authority assists residents and participants in accomplishing their self-sufficiency goals including homeownership, living independently, and obtaining living-wage employment.

Midland County Housing Authority is dedicated to being a housing authority of the future that lives up to its mission, vision, principles, and values. Midland County Housing Authority is committed to providing quality affordable housing opportunities for our families.

Mission Statement:
Midland County Housing Authority is a Public Housing Authority specially organized to encourage self-sufficiency and to provide safe, decent affordable housing to persons of very low, low, and moderate income.
